Job summary

The University of Vermont Health is currently seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Radiation Oncologist for a one-year non-ACGME fellowship starting July 2027. The fellowship blends clinical care with substantial protected time for research and graduate coursework, with opportunities to focus on stereotactic radiosurgery, brachytherapy, and adaptive radiotherapy.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with completion of an ACGME-accredited radiation oncology residency by start date.
• Board certified or board eligible in radiation oncology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Vermont and New York.
• Strong communication, adaptability, and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluation, treatment planning, on-treatment management, and follow-up across UVM Health Network sites.
• Collaborate with attending physicians, dosimetrists, physicists, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Engage in scholarly activity and quality improvement projects.
