Locum Radiation Oncology Opportunity | Long-Term Assignment Potential

Highlights

Practice Setting

  • Treat an adult-only patient base
  • Supported by 2 RNs, 5 radiation therapists, 1 dosimetrist, and 1 physicist
  • Collaborate alongside another experienced physician

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday daytime clinic hours
  • Occasional weeknight and weekend call coverage when needed (no onsite requirement for weekends)
  • Built-in breaks between assignment weeks
    • $3500 daily, $600 pager
    • 1.5x OT, 437.50/hr for call back

Procedures and Cases

  • Handle a mix of 3D Treatments, IMRT, and SBRT/SRS therapies
    • Conduct simulations, consults, follow-ups, and OTVs
    • Focused on modern radiation therapy techniques

Requirements

  • Board Certification or Eligibility in Radiation Oncology
  • Active Illinois medical license and DEA/CSR required
  • BLS certification needed
  • At least 12 months of clinical experience
