Job summary

Clinch Valley Health in Richlands, VA is seeking a Radiation Oncologist to join Lifepoint Health's nationally recognized team. You will be part of an established hospital-based Radiation Oncology program and collaborate with a dedicated oncology team in a supportive, community-focused setting.

Prepare for a predictable outpatient schedule with dedicated consult, follow-up, and treatment days and work with advanced technologies such as Elekta Versa HD, Monaco planning, and surface-guided

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with current physician on care delivered within a hospital-based Radiation Oncology program.
• Provide a predictable outpatient schedule with dedicated consult, follow-up, and treatment days.
• Utilize advanced technology including Elekta Versa HD, Monaco planning, and surface-guided radiation therapy.
• Deliver full external beam radiation therapy (SBRT, SRS, IMRT) with no brachytherapy or pediatrics.

Position Details

• Established hospital-based Radiation Oncology program
• Collaborate with current physician
• Predictable outpatient schedule with dedicated consult, follow-up, and treatment days
• Advanced technology including Elekta Versa HD, Monaco planning, and surface-guided radiation therapy
• Full external beam scope (SBRT, SRS, IMRT); no brachytherapy or pediatrics
• Experienced support team including oncology RN, nurse navigator, therapists, dosimetrist, and physics
• Minimal call with no after-hours patient call responsibilities
