Job summary

Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is seeking a full-time Radiation Oncologist to join their practice in Lancaster, PA, at the Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute.

The Institute houses 5 linear accelerators, a proton center, HDR brachytherapy, and advanced planning systems. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and participate in new clinical programs and innovations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine (Allopathic/Osteopathic).
• Completion of an accredited one year internship.
• Completion of an accredited Radiation Oncology Residency.
• Board Certified in Radiation Oncology.
• Possess or be able to obtain an unrestricted PA Medical License.
• Expertise in brachytherapy and stereotactic radiation therapy as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all patients receive the highest quality treatment.
• Provide efficient consultation service for all Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute and Lancaster General Hospital cancer patients.
• Maintain efficient clinical processes and appropriate clinical treatment protocols; participate in clinical trials; maintain high patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and technical staff to uphold high standards of care/operations.
• Engage in new clinical programs and innovations to provide the latest technologies and service.
