Job summary

UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Harrisburg, PA seeks a Radiation Oncologist to provide evidence-based radiation therapy for a broad range of cancers. You will evaluate patients, create individualized plans, oversee delivery, and monitor response and toxicity in a full-time, on-site role.

The successful candidate will collaborate with oncologists, surgeons, physicists, dosimetrists, therapists, and nurses, participate in tumor boards, and contribute to quality improvement and clinical research

Qualifications

• Board-eligible or board-certified in Radiation Oncology with residency.
• PA licensure eligibility to practice medicine in Pennsylvania.
• Experience in a NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center environment is a plus.
• Strong communication and interdisciplinary teamwork skills.
• Commitment to clinical excellence and research involvement when possible.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Oversee radiation delivery and monitor treatment response and toxicity.
• Collaborate with medical oncologists, surgeons, physicists, dosimetrists, therapists, and nursing staff.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and support clinical research.
