Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, NJ is seeking a Radiation Oncologist to lead and participate in a collaborative cancer program. The role supports a full continuum of care from consultation to follow-up, with access to advanced RT techniques and a multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will have an MD/DO, board eligibility or certification, NJ licensure eligibility with CDS/DEA, and fellowship training preferred.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility in Radiation Oncology.
• Eligible for licensure in New Jersey; CDS and DEA required.
• Fellowship training in Radiation Oncology preferred.
• Experience with modern radiation therapy techniques (EBRT, 3D conformal, brachytherapy).
• Experience with SBRT, IMRT or image-guided therapy is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• A mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
• Clinic hours from 7a to 3p.
• Expected patient load of 12–20 daily.
• Light call shared with other Radiation Oncologists in the group.
• Dedicated APP support.

Education

MD/DO from accredited medical school

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology

NJ licensure eligibility; CDS and DEA required

Fellowship training in Radiation Oncology preferred
