Position Description

We are seeking a full-time Radiation Oncologist to join our practice located in Lancaster, PA. The Radiation Oncologist will work at the Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute, a state-of-the-art cancer center equipped with advanced radiation, medical, surgical, and palliative oncology services. The facility features 5 linear accelerators, 2 CT simulators, a ProBeam 360 proton center, 60 infusion chairs, and 57 examination rooms.

The role involves ensuring high-quality treatment for all patients, managing clinical processes, protocols, clinical trials, and maintaining patient satisfaction. The Radiation Oncologist will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and have opportunities to participate in innovative clinical programs, utilizing modalities such as True Beam linear accelerators, Halcyon machines, Cyberknife, respiratory gating, 4D CT, HDR brachytherapy, and the ProBeam proton center.

Position Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine (Allopathic/Osteopathic)
• Completion of an accredited internship and Radiation Oncology Residency
• Board Certified in Radiation Oncology
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted PA Medical License
• Expertise in modalities including brachytherapy and stereotactic radiation therapy
