Job summary

Northwest Indiana Health System in Hobart, IN is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Radiation Oncologist to join a physician-led group. The role offers outpatient/inpatient care, advanced planning with 3D-CRT/IMRT/SBRT/SRS, and participation in tumor boards within a HIMSS Stage VII environment.

Qualifications

• Be board certified or board eligible in Radiation Oncology (ABR).
• MD/DO from US medical school or international equivalent.
• Active Indiana medical license or eligible for licensure within 90–120 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and inpatient radiation oncology evaluations and treatment planning for adults.
• Formulate plans using 3D-CRT, IMRT, SBRT, and SRS; oversee daily delivery and dose verification.
• Conduct on-treatment evaluations and manage radiation-related toxicities; provide survivorship follow-up.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and disease-site care teams.
• Utilize EPIC EHR and AI-driven documentation in HIMSS Stage VII environment.
• Advance clinical quality protocols and radiation safety standards.
