Overview

An established, highly regarded healthcare system in Northwest Indiana is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Radiation Oncologist to join its growing, physician-led group practice. Located just 30 minutes from downtown Chicago, this role combines a clinical subspecialty practice, high-tech hospital infrastructure, and strong work-life balance within a financially stable, collaborative health system.

What you'll do
  • Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient clinical evaluations, consultations, and radiation therapy treatment planning for adult oncology patients
  • Formulate precise radiation treatment plans, including 3D-CRT, IMRT, SBRT, and SRS techniques, overseeing daily treatment delivery and dose verification
  • Conduct regular on-treatment evaluations, manage radiation-related toxicities, and deliver long-term survivorship follow-up care
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary tumor boards and disease-site care teams
  • Utilize cutting-edge radiation oncology technology, linear accelerators, and EPIC EHR with AI-driven documentation enhancements in a HIMSS Stage VII environment
  • Help advance clinical quality protocols, radiation safety standards, and patient satisfaction initiatives
Required qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited US medical school or international equivalent (MD or DO)
  • Successfully completed an ACGME-accredited Radiation Oncology residency program; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR)
  • Active and unrestricted Indiana medical license (or eligible for state licensure within 90–120 days)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in modern radiation modalities, treatment planning systems, and multidisciplinary cancer management
  • Open to H-1B applicants who meet all federal requirements and possess an unrestricted Indiana medical license
