Job summary

A leading healthcare organization in Normal, Illinois is seeking a Radiation Oncologist to join their team. This position offers opportunities for mentorship for new graduates and practice in a collaborative multi-disciplinary environment. The successful candidate will be compensated between $525,000 and $600,000 and work with advanced treatment technologies such as the Varian True Beam. The role also includes academic appointment opportunities and access to numerous clinical trials.

Qualifications

• Candidates with experience and new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Mentorship for new graduates will be provided.
• Must have a Medical degree and completed residency in Radiation Oncology.

Responsibilities

• Practice external beam radiation therapy.
• Collaborate with other Radiation Oncologists and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in weekly Quality Assurance Radiation Oncology Conferences.

Skills

Experience in external beam radiation therapy

Familiarity with EPIC EMR

Proficiency in Eclipse treatment planning software

Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment

Education

Medical degree with residency in Radiation Oncology
