Job summary

Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a Radiation Oncologist for a civilian physician role at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, MS. The position features a Monday–Friday schedule and a supportive team within a military medical setting.

Required are a medical degree (LCME/AOA), ABR/OBRO board certification in Radiation Oncology, BLS from AHS, and an active Mississippi license. Two years of recent Radiation Oncology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from LCME-accredited school or AOA, or permanent ECFMG certification.
• Minimum 2 years of Radiation Oncology experience within the last 3 years.
• Board Certification in Radiation Oncology by ABR or OBRO.
• BLS certification from AHS.
• Active Mississippi medical license.

Responsibilities

• Provide Radiation Oncology care to patients at a military facility.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a civilian contract environment.

Position Requirements

• Education: Graduated from a medical school approved by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education of the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association or Permanent Certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates.
• Experience: A minimum experience of two (2) years within the last three (3) years working as a Radiation Oncologist.
• Board Certification: Shall be Board Certified in Radiation Oncologyby the American Board of Radiology, American Osteopathic Board of Radiology,
• Certification: BLS from AHS
• Active Mississippi License
