Northeast Georgia Health System seeks an outstanding Radiation Oncologist to join its growing team in Gainesville/Braselton, GA. The role offers general Radiation Oncology with opportunities for specialized brachytherapy, and operates 8am-5pm Monday–Friday.

Join five experienced Radiation Oncologists and collaborate across a large referral network, using EPIC EMR, and contribute to an award-winning health system with excellent compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required with board certification or eligibility in Radiation Oncology.
• Ability to obtain an active medical license in Georgia.
• Demonstrated teamwork and alignment with organizational goals.
• Desire to join a growing, high-volume Radiation Oncology practice.

Responsibilities

• Join five experienced Radiation Oncologists in a growing program.
• Provide general Radiation Oncology care with potential HDR brachytherapy opportunities.
• Hours are 8am-5pm, Monday–Friday, across Gainesville/Braselton, GA.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within a large referral network.

Education, Training, & Experience

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology
• Ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of Georgia
• Functions well in a team environment, contributing to and supporting organizational goals and initiatives.
• Desire to be part of a growing and high-volume Radiation Oncology practice.

Radiation Oncology Program Overview

• Located on the campuses of Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) in Gainesville and Braselton, GA
• Outpatient Clinics and Hospitals are in Braselton and Gainesville, GA.
• Additional office in Toccoa, GA.
• Join five experienced Radiation Oncologists.
• 8am-5pm Monday – Friday.
• General Radiation Oncology. General Radiation Oncology with opportunities for HDR prostate, gynecologic, and skin brachytherapy” – applicants might want that option in the hybrid job vs “General radiation oncology with a focus on gynecologic cancer including HDR brachytherapy
• Large Referral Network Including Primary Care, medical oncology, and multiple surgical specialists (surgical oncology, gynecologic oncology, colorectal surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, thoracic surgery, and more.
• EMR Platform – EPIC.
