Job summary

Mirion Technologies in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking a Project & Technical Support Engineer to support their Radiation Monitoring System (RMS) projects. This role involves creating test plans, user manuals, and engineering analyses, as well as providing project and technical support.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field and 3-5 years of experience. Strong computer skills and ability to work with low-level radioactive material are essential. Occasional travel will be required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Must meet NRC criteria for nuclear power access in the USA.
• Willing to travel to customer sites (~20% travel time).

Responsibilities

• Provide complete project & technical support for RAMSYS projects/products.
• Generate and conduct acceptance testing.
• Provide on-site installation supervision and customer training.

Basic knowledge of nuclear radiation characteristics

Strong computer and digital electronics skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in nuclear, electrical, mechanical, or related field
