Astranis Space Technologies is seeking a Radiation Effects Engineer to enhance the electrical survivability of spacecraft. You will analyze, design, and test robust electronic systems tailored for harsh aerospace environments.
The role involves supporting fault-tolerant system design, executing radiation testing campaigns, and working closely with the engineering team. Ideal candidates will have a BS in Electrical Engineering or a related field, alongside strong hands-on circuit design skills.
The compensation package includes a base salary ranging from $120,000 to $145,000, equity, and comprehensive benefits.

As a Radiation Effects Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the electrical survivability of our spacecraft by analyzing, designing, and testing robust electronic systems. This position requires hands‑on experience in circuit design, component validation, and mitigating radiation effects for harsh aerospace environments.
All positions offer a compensation package that includes equity and robust benefits. Base pay is just one component of Astranis’s total rewards package. Your compensation also includes a significant equity package via incentive stock options, high‑quality company‑subsidized healthcare, disability and life insurance, 401(k) retirement planning, flexible PTO, and free on‑site catered meals. Base Salary: $120,000—$145,000 USD.
