Job summary

Echodyne Corp in Kirkland, WA is seeking a System Verification and Test Engineer II to lead hands-on verification testing of radar and software systems, designing test campaigns and translating requirements into effective validation plans.

You will own field tests, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and sometimes pilot UAS during testing, driving safety-focused improvements and ensuring product quality across real-world scenarios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or higher in systems, mechanical, electrical, or related engineering.
• 2+ years in system test and verification.
• FAA Remote Pilot Certification (Part 107) or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility for insured vehicle use.
• Domestic travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, plan, and execute verification testing of radar subsystems.
• Coordinate across teams to enable efficient test execution.
• Lead a small team of test participants as needed for verification testing.
• Provide feedback on hardware/software issues and user experience.
• Collaborate with engineering to troubleshoot issues found during testing.
• Develop and deploy test equipment for verification testing.
• Operate UAS and lead safety-focused flight operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes and safety practices.
