Job summary

Technology Service Corporation Defense Services in Trumbull, CT, seeks a Radar Systems / Software Engineer to support airborne surveillance radar programs for the U.S. Army and prime contractors.

The role focuses on integrating the Modeling and Simulation framework components, including a target tracker, platform and antenna models, and more. Experience with GMTI, SAR, and maritime surveillance is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• B.S. (M.S. preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years of related radar work experience.
• 5+ years in modeling and simulation development and execution.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and test various pieces of the M&S framework with senior engineers.
• Develop near-real-time code so models can deliver answers rapidly.
• Interpret results and suggest software/algorithm fixes to the team.
• Recommend laboratory and flight testing to assess performance.
• Review and analyze collected test results.
• Brief technical accomplishments to mixed audiences.
