RTX's SE LRR department in Woburn, MA is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the XTR-2 radar program. This role involves architecture design, requirements definition, modeling, hardware and software design, and integration and test for a new system.

The ideal candidate brings deep radar insight, experience with DREX processing and servo technologies, and the ability to diagnose interdependent subsystem behaviors while coordinating with SMEs and leadership on system upgrades.

Formación

• Typical requirement is a STEM degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Systems Engineering, requirements development, and data analysis.
• Experience with MATLAB.

Responsabilidades

• Design and integrate advanced X-Band radar system to meet performance requirements.
• Develop models to simulate and analyze system behavior while identifying and solving complex technical challenges.
• Perform in-depth analyses of RF behavior, array calibration, microwave dynamics, and servo/pedestal control systems.
• Diagnose and resolve highly interdependent system‑level issues across hardware and software components.
• Collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to innovate, test, and validate technical theories and system upgrades.
