Job summary

Tomorrow.io is seeking a Radar Engineer to support design, integration, test, and validation of ground and flight radar payload hardware and software. You’ll work with senior engineers to set up test infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in RF hardware, radar systems or phased-array tech, and experience with embedded Linux and scripting. We offer relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and a flexible environment in the Colorado region.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 2+ years hands-on RF or digital hardware integration experience.
• Familiar with radar systems or phased-array architectures; beamforming and SDR platforms.
• Experience with lab test equipment: VNA, spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope.
• Comfort with embedded Linux, scripting, and hands-on data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support transition of radar systems from near-field to far-field validation.
• Contribute to payload integration in a transportable test platform.
• Implement and test radar signal processing chains (beamforming, calibration, SDR workflows).
• Support final design, procurement, and test of radar subsystems.
• Participate in acceptance testing, environmental testing, and bring-up.
• Support flight radar SDR development and validation.
• Assist in test plans and verification of manufactured SDR units.
• Support standup of payload-level integration and test infrastructure.
• Assist with full payload assembly, checkout, and regression testing.
• Maintain integration procedures, test reports, and configuration documentation.
