Anduril Industries is a defense technology company developing radar and sensor systems. We seek an experienced Radar Software Engineer with 5+ years of software development to contribute to application-level software powering radar platforms, data processing pipelines, and operator tools.

Ideal candidates will have strong C++ skills, familiarity with Python, and a passion for scalable software platforms, APIs, and reproducible builds using NixOS.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Proficiency in C++ (Python is a plus).
• Experience with APIs for internal/external consumers.
• Hands-on with Nix for reproducible builds and environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain application-level software for radar systems focusing on maintainability and performance.
• Build and enhance radar applications, data processing workflows, and operator-facing interfaces.
• Define and document APIs for component-to-component communication and integrations.
• Develop reproducible build and deployment workflows for consistency across environments.
• Lead performance analysis and optimization of radar software.
