Job summary
SAIC seeks a Radar Signals Engineer in Chantilly, Virginia to support modeling, simulation, and analyses of radar tracking for satellites in Earth orbits. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experts across propulsion, radars, optics, AI/ML, and HPC to deliver actionable insights for senior government customers.
The role requires a TS/SCI clearance and experience in target-tracking radar signals, antenna analysis, and advanced signal processing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Applied Math, Physics or related technical field and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience
- Experience with target-tracking radar signals
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and C/C++ for data analysis and modeling.

- Satellite-tracking radar signal designs and signal processing algorithms
- Antenna design and analyses
- Performance analyses of satellite target detection, acquisition, tracking and characterization
- Develop and optionally present actionable technical briefings
