Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Radar Requirements Analyst to manage radar system requirements, writing in DXL for DOORS and leveraging model-based systems engineering.

You will collaborate with DoD, industry, and government teams to capture specifications and maintain system models. Responsibilities include coordinating with engineers on traceability, producing briefs and reports, and guiding TRRs/TIMs/PDRs/CDRs/FDRs while evolving requirement practices in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 8+ years of related experience or a STEM Bachelor’s with equivalent work experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher is required.
• Experience with MBSE environments and SysML (CAMEO) is essential.
• Proficiency in DOORS and/or DXL/Macro scripting is expected.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with DoD, industry, and government teams to manage requirements for radar systems.
• Capture specifications for future development in DOORS and/or CAMEO.
• Compare prime item specs to government requirements and coordinate issue resolution.
• Maintain databases and system models per MDA best practices.
• Provide technical direction for TRRs, TIMs, PDRs, CDRs and FDRs.
• Develop briefs, point papers, and trace reports for item development and model deliveries.
