Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. seeks a Radar Requirements Analyst to govern ground sensor system requirements for missile defense programs.

You will capture specifications in DOORS and CAMEO, apply Model Based Systems Engineering with SysML, and coordinate with DoD and industry partners. Responsibilities include maintaining databases and system models, developing briefings and trace reports, and supporting TRRs, TIMs, and design reviews.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with 8+ years experience, or STEM bachelor's with equivalent experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
• Experience with MBSE environments and SysML (CAMEO).
• Experience with DOORS and/or DXL scripting.
• Familiarity with radar systems for missile defense.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage requirements for ground sensor systems in development for missile defense.
• Capture specifications in DOORS and CAMEO; maintain traceability.
• Compare prime item specs to government specs and coordinate resolutions.
• Maintain databases and system models per MDA best practices.
• Develop briefings, point papers, and trace reports for deliveries.
• Support TRRs, TIMs, and PDR/CDR/FDR with technical direction.

In this role, the ideal candidate will possess experience writing in DXL for IBM Rational DOORS, familiarity with model-based-systems-engineering and associated systems like CAMEO, and familiarity with Radar systems for missile warning and missile defense.Job Description:Collaborate with multiple DoD, Industry, and 4th estate teams to manage requirements for multiple ground sensor systems in development by the Missile Defense AgencyCapture technical specifications for future development initiatives in DOORS and/or CAMEO, as required by program engineersCompare prime item development specifications to government specifications, identify deficiencies, and coordinate resolution with stakeholdersMaintain databases and system models in accordance with Missile Defense Agency best practices as defined by the Systems Engineer and Transformation Task ForceSupport technical discussions and interchanges to vector development of requirements and ensure compliance with lead engineer vision and intentDevelop briefings, point papers, and trace reports for prime item development specification and relevant system model deliveriesCoordinate support from supporting personnel as needed, provide concise instructions and expectations to assist in managing databases and modelsEvolve current requirement management practices in response to changing information system capabilitiesCapture processes, standards, and techniques in checklists to enable support and cross-team function as neededProvide technical direction to Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), Design Reviews (PDR, CDR, FDR)Required Qualifications:Education/Experience: Master of Science or Master of Arts degree and 8+ years of related professional experience.
