Job summary

DC Army National Guard in Wisconsin is seeking Radar Repairer trainees. You will learn to operate radar equipment, install, repair and maintain components, and keep logs for ongoing operations.

Training includes 10 weeks of Basic Training and 45 weeks of classroom instruction in two phases, with hands-on practice in repairing and replacing equipment parts. You will earn a regular paycheck during training and qualify for tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Must be enlisting in the Army National Guard
• Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
• Willing to undergo military training and certification

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and adjust radar system components to tolerances
• Perform initial, in-process, on-site inspections and quality checks
