Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Beavercreek, Ohio, to develop technology that supports national security. The role includes modeling foreign threat radar and weapons systems, with a focus on signal processing.
Candidates should have at least two years of coding experience in MATLAB, C++, or Fortran and hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. The projected compensation range is $77,500 to $176,000 annually.
Your engineering skills and determination are needed to develop the cutting‑edge technology that supports the warfighter and national security. Join an energetic team whose day‑to‑day mission involves breaking down the Air Force’s toughest challenges and communicating the essential results of that work to leadership. As an electrical engineer, you bring the power behind complex systems—key when modeling foreign threat radar, antennas, weapons, and communication systems. We’re looking for a problem solver who can use their skills to perform detailed analyses, including the evaluation of detectability of airborne systems and survivability analyses of weapons systems and platforms to be deployed in future combat scenarios. Lifelong learners and motivated, independent thinkers who thrive in a fast‑paced, team environment focused on client delivery are you. This role hones your technical abilities on significant and current engineering problems while gaining experience in leadership and communication.
Our modeling and simulation team performs a variety of classified analyses of future weapons and platform concepts for DoD clients, and we develop the detailed models and simulations required. That’s why we need an electrical engineer with a solid background in signal processing to develop radar and antenna models. You’ll also perform modeling tasks, including radar signal processing code development and the refinement of weapons models in Fortran, C++, MATLAB, and Simulink. You’ll directly impact the Air Force’s mission by helping determine tactics, techniques, and procedures to improve survivability and vulnerability against foreign threat systems and informing acquisition decisions for future systems.
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
Salary at Booz Allen is determined by factors such as location, the individual’s education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements.
