Job summary

Harris Geospatial Solutions seeks a Field Engineering Specialist – RADAR in Yorba Linda, CA. The role involves installation, maintenance, and modification of complex radar/electronic systems, with Navy NMIS support and occasional shipboard deployments.

Travel up to 40% domestically/internationally, starting with Edwards AFB assignments and eventual bi-weekly trips to Yorba Linda. Requires US Secret/Top Secret eligibility and a strong background in radar tech and testing.

Qualifications

• Experience using RF, analog, and digital test gear to troubleshoot complex electronics.
• Proven ability to assess, test, and operate Navy NMIS/electronic systems.
• Ability to deploy on ships and support Navy flight tests.

Responsibilities

• Support Navy NMIS electronics systems assembly, testing, and operation.
• Occasionally assist Navy testing events as a watch stander providing safety data.
• Make independent technical assessments during critical flight tests.
• Coordinate with NMIS groups and external contractors and Navy customers.
• Train and guide other team members on project execution.
