Leidos is seeking a qualified Field Engineer to support the NAS RSR program at busy airports. You will act as the RSR SME, engaging with program office, engineering leads, and contractors to ensure successful installation and disposition activities.

The role requires 75% travel and hands-on experience with radar systems in NAS, along with FAA training and risk-management awareness. You will represent Leidos professionally with FAA customers and partner teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field with 4–8 years of experience, or Master's with 2–6 years.
• Experience with electrical equipment and systems design and development.
• Completion of formal Radar training at the FAA Academy.
• Radar certification authority at one or more airports.
• Several years of hands-on field experience on Radar systems in the active NAS.
• Knowledge of FAA operational risk management practices.
• Ability to work independently and in a small team to meet installation schedules.
• Capability to lift 75 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Represent the PO at RSR sites, executing to a multi-site schedule.
• Serve as an RSR SME to the program office, implementation, and engineering leads.
• Assist in site preparation, including development of site implementation plans.
• Provide onsite installation and disposition consultation, advising contractors on design/SOW requirements.
