Job summary

Footbridge Federal is seeking a highly skilled radar systems engineer in Colorado who will formulate and refine signal processing algorithms, develop real-time MATLAB-based models, and analyze range-Doppler displays for radar performance and tracking filters.

The role requires an active Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and strong expertise in LFM/pulsed radar, with hands-on MATLAB and system simulation experience. You will work within a defense-focused culture emphasizing mission impact.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of experience (or Master's with 3+ years, or PhD with 1+ years).
• Specialized expertise in radar signal processing, including pulsed and LFM waveforms.
• Advanced hands-on proficiency with MATLAB for algorithm prototyping, modeling, and system simulation.
• Proven experience with radar calibration, target detection, discrimination techniques, and Blake chart analysis.
• Familiarity with the systems engineering lifecycle and technical management tools (Jira, Confluence, SharePoint).
