Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Real Time embedded systems experience required.
• Object oriented design methodology experience required.
• C++ experience required.
• Experience with full software development life cycle required.
• Radar knowledge is a plus.
• Must have excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Must have a background permitting DoD Secret clearance when required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software using C++, embedded Linux (PetaLinux), and RTOS for safety-critical apps.
• Support software integrated into embedded systems meeting industry, customer, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Develop software verification plans, tests, and environments; document results.
• Foster a continuous improvement culture.
• Generate software requirement specifications from system design.
• Develop top-level architecture and detailed designs for software components and systems.
• Define and document interfaces between software components and systems.
• Support verification and validation activities including hardware/software integration and formal testing.
