Job summary

TCOM, L.P. in Arlington, VA is seeking a Director of Business Development – Radar to lead pursuit of domestic and international radar opportunities across air, maritime, ground, and integrated air and missile defense markets.

You will develop growth strategies, cultivate senior-level customer relationships, and drive capture campaigns from opportunity identification through award, with 25–50% travel and potential international assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of related professional experience in business development, capture, sales, or a closely related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and pursue new radar business opportunities in U.S. and international markets.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans targeting defense ministries and other governmental agencies.
• Build and maintain senior-level customer relationships and identify future customer and mission needs.
• Develop campaign-specific business development and capture strategies for successful execution.
• Lead cross-functional capture efforts from opportunity identification through contract award.
• Research competitors, products, services, and market conditions to strengthen competitive positioning.
• Monitor campaign status and budget requirements.
• Translate customer feedback into actionable recommendations for internal stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain a strong professional network and guide junior personnel.
