Job summary

Array Labs builds radar-based 3D data products and cloud-based image pipelines. We seek a radar software engineer to develop SAR algorithms, integrate them into production, and collaborate across teams to meet customer needs.

You will contribute to algorithm development, performance tools, and validation activities, with a focus on robust, scalable software and end‑user quality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, computer science, or a related field.
  • Experience in SAR digital signal processing and algorithm development.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Self‑directed learning and high self‑motivation and personal accountability.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment under significant time constraints.
  • Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or MATLAB.
  • Advanced degree with emphasis in radar image formation (preferred).
  • Familiarity with SAR image formation algorithms, collection modes, motion compensation, and collection geometries.
  • Experience deploying radar algorithms into production pipelines.
  • Knowledge of modern software development practices (version control, code review, continuous integration, etc.).
  • Knowledge of SAR interferogram processing, tomographic aspects, holographic principles, and multi‑dimensional inverse SAR optimization methods.
  • Compliance with U.S. Government space technology export regulations (ITAR) – U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required authorizations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop synthetic aperture radar algorithms to create high-quality 3D data-products, drawing from tomography, interferometry, radargrammetry, and computer vision techniques.
  • Work closely with the software team to implement and deploy efficient algorithms in our cloud-based image production pipeline.
  • Create tools for predicting the performance of 3D reconstruction algorithms based on image collection geometry.
