Job summary

The Federal Aviation Administration seeks an Airway Transportation Systems Specialist (Radar) to maintain and operate NAS radar and related electronics for safe air traffic control at/near DFW.

Reporting to the Dallas-Fort Worth Technical Support Center, the ATSS provides advanced technical authority, performs high-level troubleshooting, system maintenance, and integration with NAS infrastructure across facilities, ensuring continuous service and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced troubleshooting, facility outage mitigation, and complex system maintenance to support NAS infrastructure at DFW.
• Integrate, restore, test, and evaluate new services or components within NAS hardware/software systems.
• Guide contractors and FAA staff; coordinate with users, planners, and engineers for system acceptance and improvements.
