Job summary

The University of Chicago's Department of Radiology seeks Clinical Associates at 100% effort for renewable terms of up to three years. Appointees will interpret emergency radiology exams and join a team of six ER radiologists, extending the current evening shift.

Shifts are nights and weekends, with flexible arrangements potentially allowing remote work. Qualified applicants must have an MD or DO, licensure eligibility in Illinois and Indiana, and ABR certification or eligibility.

Job description

The University of Chicago's Department of Radiology seeks Clinical Associates at 100% effort for renewable terms of up to three years. Appointees will have responsibilities that include interpretation of all aspects of emergency radiology diagnostic examinations and will be joining our team of six emergency radiologists, extending an existing evening shift.

Work shifts will be primarily nights and weekends; arrangements are flexible and may be fully remote. The anticipated clinical schedule is 7 days on clinical service and 14 days off clinical service. These positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation depends on qualifications. These positions are benefits-eligible.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must:

• have a medical doctorate or equivalent,
• hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois and the State of Indiana,
• be American Board of Radiology certified or eligible.

We especially welcome applicants with emergency radiology fellowship training or equivalent experience. Basic pediatric ER radiology skills are also sought.
