Job summary

The University of Chicago Department of Radiology is expanding and seeking full-time Neuroradiology faculty at any rank to join our section. Appointees will cover adult and pediatric neuroimaging, including brain, head and neck, and spine, with opportunities to supervise procedures.

Remote clinical days are available weekly. The position includes teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, participation in conferences, and collaborative research.

Qualifications

• Medical degree or equivalent.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Illinois and Indiana.
• Board certified or eligible in Radiology (ABR).
• Fellowship in Neuroradiology or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows in a multidisciplinary academic setting.
• Participate in interdisciplinary conferences and collaborative research.
• Provide and supervise neuroimaging duties for adult and pediatric patients (brain, head/neck, spine).

Appointees will have responsibilities in adult and pediatric neuroimaging, including brain, head and neck, and spine. Opportunities to perform and supervise minor procedures are also available. Remote clinical days are available weekly, and scheduling is designed to support personal well-being alongside clinical and academic success. Protected academic time is also provided. These roles include participation in interdisciplinary conferences and teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows. Qualifications

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must:

1. 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois and the State of Indiana 3) be Board certified or Board eligible in Radiology, and 4) have completed a Radiology Fellowship in Neuroradiology or equivalent.
