Northside Hospital in the Atlanta area is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist to operate X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment for a wide age range, including neonates through geriatrics. The role requires ARRT registration, CPR certification, and mammography screening experience.

The position is located in Johns Creek, GA, with work hours from 8:30am to 5:00pm, and the candidate should have a Georgia driver’s license and the ability to work autonomously under indirect supervision.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
• Two years of experience in radiology.
• Current Georgia driver’s license.
• Certified Mammographer (Screen Atlanta) requirement.

Responsabilités

• Operates X‑Ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Performs intravenous radiographic studies and works with autonomy and indirect supervision.

Responsibilities

Operates X‑Ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. This position is characterized by the ability to perform intravenous radiographic studies and work in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision. The Registered Radiologic Technologist/Screen Atlanta works with a female population over thirty-five years of age.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR).

Screen Atlanta:

• Must be a Certified Mammographer.
• Two (2) years of experience required.
• Current and valid Georgia State driver's license.

PREFERRED

• Prior experience in diagnostic radiology.
• Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians, and other personnel.

Work Hours:

8:30am-5:00pm
