Job summary

Medical City Decatur is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform quality radiologic procedures according to physician orders while delivering compassionate patient care. You will participate in call/holiday coverage and maintain competencies, ensuring accurate records and adherence to radiation safety.

The role requires ARRT-R certification, state licensure, an associates degree or equivalent, and experience with C-Arm, fluoroscopy, portable imaging, and surgical imaging procedures.

Qualifications

• Basic requirements include ARRT-R certification and state licensure.
• Associate degree or equivalent in radiologic technology.
• One year of experience preferred in radiologic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality radiologic procedures per physician orders.
• Maintain patient care and excellent customer service.
• Participate in call/holiday coverage and continue competency training.
• Complete records and documentation; follow radiation safety.
• Engage in department quality control and initiatives.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs quality Radiologic procedures, follows physician’s orders, practices quality patient care, exercise excellent customer service,participatesincall/holiday coverage,maintainscompetencies and current knowledge of procedures,participatesin equipment Q.C., completes all records and documentation, practices radiationsafety, involvedin department initiatives.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, or Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate
• Medical Radiologic Technologist license (TMB)
• 1 year experience preferred
• C-Arm, Fluoroscopy, Portable, and Surgery
