Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate radiologic equipment and perform diagnostic procedures following established standards. You will provide patient services across age groups and adhere to radiation safety policies while delivering quality care.

Applicants should be graduates of AMA approved programs (or JRCERT accredited training) with ARRT and BLS certifications; no prior experience is required.

Responsibilities

What you will do

• Operates radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic radiographs and performs routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices. Provide patient services using imaging modalities. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
• Maintains competencies for all related components.
• Accurately follows all established imaging protocols for exam being performed.
• Provides quality age specific care in accordance with prescribed standards and practices.
• Adhere to the Radiation Safety Policies and the principles of a viable dose reduction program.
• Provides patient education and communications in accordance with prescribed standards.
