Jacksonville ER is seeking a Radiology Tech Multi-modality for PRN night shifts. You will operate CT, X-ray, MRI, and ultrasound to capture diagnostic images and support patient safety in a busy hospital.

Requirements include ARRT or RDMS certification, BLS, an associate degree or equivalent, and at least one year of hospital experience. Multimodality certification in two or more modalities is preferred. Excellent communication and composure under pressure are essential.

Qualificações

  • Hospital setting experience required.
  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Certification in BLS from the American Heart Association.
  • Multimodality technologist with two or more modalities preferred.

Responsabilidades

  • Position patients to ensure accurate imaging across modalities.
  • Perform warm-up sequences on radiologic equipment.
  • Sterilize radiologic equipment and follow infection control.
  • Follow physicians' scanning instructions precisely.
  • Administer radiocontrast agents when indicated.
  • Review scans to ensure technical quality.
  • Explain procedures to patients and provide reassurance.
  • Monitor for adverse reactions to contrast agents.
  • Maintain radiologic supplies inventory and report deficiencies.
