PRN Coverage / Evening Shift

A Brief Overview

The Rad Tech I is responsible for operating imaging equipment to perform procedures for a specified patient population, exemplifying behaviors aligned with MLH Mission, Vision, and Values.

What You Will Do

• Perform quality radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety methods.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and policies.
• Manage resources such as supplies and equipment efficiently.
• Demonstrate professional behavior and excellent customer service in all interactions.

Education Qualifications

• Technical Degree or Diploma in Radiology

Experience Qualifications

• No prior work experience required

Skills And Abilities

• Basic knowledge of radiographic equipment and imaging procedures.
• Effective communication with internal and external customers.
• Knowledge of radiology information systems (RIS, HIS, PACS) preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• BASIC LIFE SUPPORT - American Heart Association
• Registered Radiologic Technologist - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

Supervision Provided by this Position

• No supervisory or lead responsibilities; may demonstrate responsibilities to others and observe/instruct student technologists.

Physical Demands

• Activities include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motions.
• Must have good balance and coordination.
• Physical exertion up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 25 lbs. frequently.
• Requires close visual acuity, including color and depth perception.
• Frequent patient contact and exposure to body fluids and hazardous materials.
• Ability to react quickly in emergencies.
