Job summary

Baptist Health in Elizabethtown, KY seeks a Rad Tech for the Cecilia Diagnostic Imaging Center on a PRN, as-needed basis. The technologist will independently perform the majority of radiology exams with minimal supervision within the Radiology section, under the Radiology Director/Manager and Radiologist/Team Leader.

Qualified candidates hold an associate degree or higher, active Kentucky licensure, and ARRT registration or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher from an ARRT-recognized or JRCERT-accredited program.
• Active licensure through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy is required.
• Registered or Registry Eligible by the ARRT; BLS preferred on hire and required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs the majority of radiology exams with minimal supervision.
• Works within the Radiology section under the direction of the Radiology Director/Manager and Radiologist/Team Leader.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher from an institution accredited by an agency that the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) recognizes, or military training graduate of JRCERT-accredited program required.
• Active licensure through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy required.
• Registered or Registry Eligible by the ARRT required. BLS preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire.
