Job summary

Trinity Health in Iowa is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist for evening shifts in a clinic setting. You will perform radiology tests, follow EMR procedures, and apply radiology skills under supervision to support patient care.

You must hold a State of Iowa radiology permit and have AMA-approved radiologic technology training, with AART certification preferred. BLS certification and mandatory reporter training completed within 3 months are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of radiographic theory and techniques.
• Clinic policies and procedures and anatomy.
• Experience with electronic medical records systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and skilled radiology tests and procedures for patients of all ages.
• Follow clinic procedures for EMR: test results, retrieval, filing, creation, repair, charging.
• Apply specialized radiology skills under the direction of a clinic provider in patient care.
• Recognize and assess urgent/emergency needs and initiate appropriate procedures as needed.

Employment Type: Part time Shift: Evening Shift Description: We are hiring a Rad Tech! As a Rad Tech, you will: Demonstrate the ability to recognize and assess urgent/emergency needs of patients and initiating appropriate emergency procedures as needed Follow clinic procedure/protocol for the organization and management of the electronic medical record (i.e. test results, retrieval, filing, creation, repair, charging of electronic medical record) Apply specialized radiology skills under the direction of a clinic provider in the care and treatment of patients in a clinic setting Perform a variety of routine and skilled radiology tests, diagnostic tests, or procedures to patients of all ages. Hours: Varied hours 4-hour shifts Evenings

Requirements:

• Must maintain State of Iowa permit to practice Radiology.
• Knowledge of Radiolgraphic theory and techniques, clinic policies and procedures and principles of anatomy.
• Work requires extensive technical or specialized training such as would be acquired in a college or technical school (i.e. completion of AMA approved two year training program in radiologic technology and AART certified).
• Clinic/Physician office experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three (3) months of hire.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population serve within three (3) months of hire
