• Supports Operating Room by providing Radiology guidance for cases.
• Knowledgeable of all aspects of OR to include Radiology protocols and equipment.
• Provides on‑call support for Operating Room by participating in mandatory call rotation.
• Troubleshoots equipment related issues as needed and reports any issues as they occur to appropriate leadership.
• Inserts intravenous lines in preparation for radiologic studies.
• Performs imaging for myelograms and therapeutic chemotherapy, venograms, arthrograms, and other studies requiring intravenous or subdural injection of contrast medium.
• May assist physician with biopsy and aspiration procedures, practicing sterile technique as required.
• Sets up sterile trays with all supplies and instruments required for procedures.
• Provides assistance with transportation of patients to and from Emergency Room and In‑Patient areas.
• Performs portable x‑ray imaging as ordered.

Required

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

• Certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Preferred
