Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program required.
  • Must maintain ARRT status and have a valid Ohio Radiographer License.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain diagnostic XRAYs using radiation-generating equipment.
  • Aid physicians in diagnosing diseases in patients of all ages.

Job description

Location: METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER

Biweekly Hours: 16.00

Shift: PRN, rotating hours based on department need

Bring your Diagnostic Radiology skills to a fast-paced, rewarding, Level 1 Trauma Center! Obtains diagnostic XRAYs using radiation-generating equipment to aid physicians and providers in the diagnosis of diseases in infants through adults.

  1. Brand new Siemens Flouro remote and direct units
  2. Siemens diagnostic DR x-ray equipment
  3. Portable Konica digital unit
  4. Shimadzu x-ray with stitching capabilities

Qualifications:

Required:
  1. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
  2. Has and maintains status as a Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  3. Valid Ohio Radiographer License.
  4. BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Physical Requirements:
  1. May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day.
  2. May need to lift, pull or push over 50 lbs.
  3. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
  4. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
