Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Radiology Director and Staff Radiologist, the Radiology Tech II performs diagnostic procedures using all aspects of diagnostic equipment. Responsibilities include scheduling, patient preparation, and performing exams.

Essential Functions
  • Obtain medical history and prepare patients for examinations.
  • Perform diagnostic procedures as ordered and assist radiologists with special procedures and fluoroscopy.
  • Maintain cleanliness and stock of radiology equipment rooms and supplies.
  • Make exposures to produce diagnostic-quality images and perform modality procedures per protocols.
  • Handle PACS functions and burn CDs.
  • Ensure procedures are within budget, maintain confidentiality, participate in customer relations and education programs.
  • Review patient records, verify orders, and utilize HIS and ED systems for patient information.
  • Comply with hospital policies, laws, regulations, and the hospital’s Corporate Compliance Program.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Current Wyoming Radiologic Technologist License and AART registration in radiography.
  • Experience in Diagnostic X-Ray preferred.
