Qualifications

  • ARRT-R certification and state licensure required.

The hospital is the only Certified Stroke Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center, and labor and delivery unit in the area. In addition, Dallas Regional is the only Trauma Center within 13 miles and was the first accredited Geriatric Emergency Room in Dallas County. The hospital is a recipient of Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Awards, with 15 Healthgrades Five-Star ratings over the past three years.

Responsibilities

Rad Tech I - PRN performs diagnostic radiographic procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations. The technologist functions as the first line interface with patients and is responsible for accomplishing their imaging needs. Participates in PI/QC activities. Responsible for processing and transmitting images to PACS.

Qualifications

  • Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
  • ARRT-R is required.
  • Familiarity with State and Federal regulations.
  • Current BCLS (AHA).
  • At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills.
