Job summary

Blessing Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform interventional and standard radiographic imaging procedures as prescribed by physicians. The role requires knowledge of interventional techniques, equipment, and sterile technique, with flexibility to float within the system based on needs.

The incumbent will serve patients across the age spectrum, from neonates to geriatrics, and participate in fulfilling the hospital’s mission and performance improvement goals.

Qualifications

• Graduated from Accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• One year radiology tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional and radiographic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Maintain knowledge of interventional procedures, equipment, and sterile technique.
• Float within Blessing Health System to meet departmental needs.
• Provide care to patients from neonate to geriatric, respecting developmental stages.

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for interventional procedures as well as other radiographic imaging procedures as prescribed by a physician. This position requires knowledge of interventional procedures, equipment, and sterile technique. This position also requires extensive knowledge of human anatomy including vascular anatomy. Position will be required to float within the Health System based on departmental needs.

This position requires providing services to one or more age populations, including neonate through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.

This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals, and direction of the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) at Blessing Hospital.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training/Experience:

REQUIRED:

Graduated from Accredited School of Radiologic Technology

PREFERRED:

One (1) year of Radiology Tech experience

License/Certifications/Special Requirements:

• ARRT
• IEMA
