Elizabethtown Community Hospital in upstate New York is seeking a full-time CT/X-ray Technologist. The role performs diagnostic radiologic procedures including CT/X-ray, following physician orders and hospital policies.

You will work in a compassionate, patient-centered environment with emphasis on safety and professional standards. Candidates must hold NYS DOH and ARRT licensure, maintain current status, and bring strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and staff

Formación

• Must be licensed by the NYS Department of Health and registered by the ARRT and maintain current status.
• CT experience preferred; willing to train to become CT for licensed radiology technologists.

Responsabilidades

• Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures (CT/X-ray) as ordered by physicians.
• Ensure ethical, professional patient care according to hospital policy and NY guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and patients and manage stressful situations.

We are seeking an individual who can function as a CT/X-ray Tech for our team!This person will work out of our hospital in Elizabethtown, NY.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our Radiologic Technologist performs Diagnostic Radiologic Procedures in a variety of settings and modalities on patients as ordered by physicians in an ethical and professional manner according to hospital and departmental policy and according to any applicable New York State guidelines.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be licensed by the NYS Department of Health and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) andmaintaina current status.
• CT experience preferred. Will consider licensed Radiology Technologist willing to train to become CT.
• Requires sufficient sensitivity and interpersonal skills in dealing with apprehensive patients and family in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Requires positive and effectivecommunicatingskills for interaction with physicians and staff in any situation.
• Requires the ability to think and act quicklyin order todeliver efficient quality care in a variety of stressful situations.
