Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be licensed by the NYS Department of Health and registered by the ARRT and maintain a current status.
• CT experience preferred; willing to train to become CT.
• Requires sensitivity and interpersonal skills with apprehensive patients and family.
• Requires effective communication with physicians and staff.
• Ability to think and act quickly in stressful situations to deliver quality care.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Radiologic Procedures in a variety of settings and modalities as ordered by physicians.
• Adheres to hospital and departmental policy and NYS guidelines.
• Maintains professional and ethical standards in all patient interactions.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to ensure quality care.
• Ensures safety and proper operation of radiology equipment.
