Job summary

GEICO’s RAD team is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to translate business needs into scalable, data-driven solutions. You’ll collaborate with business leaders and engineering to apply AI-enabled automation across processes, improve reporting, and streamline requirements, testing, and delivery activities.

You’ll gather requirements, write user stories, and drive testing, with a focus on automating workflows and validating solutions. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience using AI tools to support business process automation, including requirements, workflow improvements, test planning and reporting.
• Experience eliciting and documenting functional system requirements with project stakeholders.
• Experience developing test plans, creating/executing QA or automated tests, and validating functionality.

RAD Business Systems Analyst

As a Business Systems Analyst, you will serve in a critical role working closely with business leaders and engineering teams to refine business needs into scalable, data-driven solutions while identifying opportunities to use AI tools to automate business processes, improve reporting, and streamline requirements, testing, and delivery activities.

Customer Interaction:

• Partner with stakeholders and lead cross-functional communication

Needs Assessment:

• Gather, document, and refine business and system requirements

• Translate needs into user stories, workflows, and improvement opportunities

• Use AI tools to support requirements gathering, documentation, workflow analysis, and automation opportunities across business processes

Problem Resolution:

• Analyze issues, test solutions, andidentifyopportunities to use AI to create test plans, automate test cases, and improve solution validation

• Support troubleshooting andvalidatefixes

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience using AI tools to support business process automation, includingrequirements ofdocumentation, workflow improvements, test planning, test case automation, data analysis, and reporting.

• Experience eliciting and documenting functional system requirements in partnership with project stakeholders.

• Experience developing test plans,creatingand executing QA or automated test scripts, and validating system functionality through regression and scenario-based testing.

Core Skills:

• Candidatemustpossessstrong written and verbal communication skills, a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, a strong analytical ability,and a willingness to respond to ad hoc requests from customersin a timely manner.

• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision, perform under pressure,and multi-task.

Preferred Skills:

• Candidate with or pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field/equivalent experienceis preferred.

• Prior experience in insurance and knowledge on insurance products

• Agile/SAFE certifications.

• Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with Agile project management practices.

• Experience with Software Development Life Cycle.

• Knowledge of Data Management concepts, including data modeling, architecture,and data governance.

• Working knowledge of SQL is preferred

• Coding experience and theutilizationof AI in code generation for the purpose of creating user interfaces and business support logic.

Annual Salary

$64,575.00 - $129,150.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
