PlaySight is a leader in racquet sports video technology, working with groups like the ITA, IMG Academy, Ace Pickleball Club, Reserve Padel, and others globally. Our technology is installed on thousands of courts at all levels of sport, and in 2024, PlaySight will power champions in the NBA, WNBA, NCAA Tennis, NCAA Baseball, NCAA Ice Hockey, and more.

We are seeking an ambitious and play-to-win Racquet Sports Sales Manager to join our growing global Sales team. In this role, you will be pivotal in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Reporting to the VP Sales – North America
  2. Driving new sales initiatives and growth strategies in North America, focusing on pickleball, tennis, and padel
  3. Supervising the entire sales process from lead generation to closing
  4. Providing sales support to the international sales team

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in racquet sports, including playing, coaching, sales, or technology, is highly valued
  • A strong background in sales/business development, with a proven track record of generating leads, meeting/exceeding quotas, and successful closings in B2C sales (3+ years preferred)
  • Strong understanding of the sports technology market
  • An academic degree, preferably in business or media
  • Proven experience in identifying potential clients, cultivating relationships, negotiating, and recruiting clients
  • Skill in managing the complete sales cycle: from lead generation and pipeline management to negotiation, deal closing, and implementation
  • Ability to work autonomously and as an effective team player
  • Ability to adapt in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
  • Networking in athletics or specific sports is a plus
  • Background in Racquet Sports (Tennis, Pickleball, Padel), Baseball, Softball, Hockey, or Basketball is a plus
  • Multilingual abilities, especially English and Spanish, are a bonus
  • The role may involve travel and is remote
