Plantation Bay Golf & Country Club in Ormond Beach, FL is seeking a Racquet Sports Maintenance Technician to keep Har-Tru courts and pickleball facilities in top condition. The role requires outdoor work, independent initiative, and a focus on safety and surface quality.

You will manage court maintenance tasks, operate irrigation systems, and coordinate with management and staff to ensure facilities remain safe, clean, and playable throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining Har-Tru tennis courts.
• Knowledge of above-ground irrigation systems.
• Experience with pickleball court maintenance.
• Understanding of racquet sports facility maintenance and court prep.
• Ability to perform outdoor physical work in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to operate and maintain maintenance equipment and tools.

• Reliable and able to work independently.
• A valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and care for Har-Tru clay tennis courts, including watering, rolling, grooming, dragging, leveling, and general court upkeep.
• Operate and maintain above-ground irrigation systems used for court maintenance.
• Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of pickleball courts and facilities.
• Monitor court conditions and address issues related to surface quality, drainage, irrigation, and playability.
• Assist with seasonal preparation, repairs, and general facility maintenance as needed.
• Maintain equipment and tools used for racquet sports facility operations.
• Keep courts and surrounding areas clean, safe, and presentable.
• Follow established maintenance schedules and safety procedures.
• Work independently while also collaborating with management and other facility staff.

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Racquet Sports Maintenance Technician to join our team at Plantation Bay Golf & Country Club!

This position is responsible for the daily care, maintenance, and upkeep of our tennis and pickleball facilities, ensuring courts are safe, playable, and maintained to the highest standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials. Minimum 50lbs.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in heat, humidity, and changing weather conditions.

Schedule: Full-Time

Pay Range: $16.00 - $19.00 D.O.E
